Cellular
phones are becoming more and more popular as the years progress. Many people now days have also discontinued the use of land
lines and have faithfully committed to a cell phone. It has even gone as far as every person in the household owning a cell
phone because certain cell phone carriers make it cheaper and give better bargains when you add numerous lines to your account.
Although,
what is the proper age to own a cell phone? Many parents may think it is good way of keeping track of their child, but in
all reality it could play a major part of danger in their child's life. For instance, if your child is out with his or
her friends driving in the family car and you as the parent are calling them to let them know it’s time to come home when
all of a sudden because the phone was ringing and they were distracted your child was in a serious car accident. Not only
was your child involved in the accident but the other children were involved as well. That would make you as the parent responsible
for all of them in your vehicle, and not only are all these children hurt or possibly killed, but now you are going to
have to live with knowing that if you only had given it a second thought of putting that cell phone in your child’s
hand this might have not ever happened. Does it seem like a good way of keeping track of your child now?
Today
mostly all cell phone commercials are directed to teenagers and even younger. Although when you go into a cell phone
store trying to purchase one they immediately ask for your license and make sure you are 18 years of age or older. Maybe that
should also apply to owning a cell phone and even the use of a cell phone. For parents that add your children to your cell
phone accounts maybe you should think twice about what kind of damage this can do.
Cell
phones have played a major role in car accidents, and most of the age groups of these accidents are under the age of 18. So
what exactly is the proper age to be given a cell phone? Or perhaps what age would you like to put your child in danger?

So what is the proper age to own a cell phone? Well, many parents may think it
is good way of keeping track of their child so therefore they give them a cell phone thinking they have done something positive.
But in all reality it could be a major risk factor in the child's life. For instance, if your child is out with his or

Another thing about the proper age of owning a cell phone is that today mostly
all cell phone commercials are directed to teenagers and younger. How about when you go into a cell phone store trying to
purchase one the sales associate immediately will ask for some sort of identification and make sure you are 18 years of age
or older. Maybe that should also apply to owning a cell phone and possibly even the use of a cell phone. For parents that

With the increasing popularity of cellular phones in today’s market more families have discontinued the use of
land lines and every person in the household including the children now own their own cellular phone. That is with the help
of many cell phone carriers offering better bargains when you add numerous phones to your account. But what is the proper
age to give your child a cell phone?
Well, many parents may think it is good way of keeping track of their child, therefore they give them
a cell phone thinking they have done something positive. But in reality it could be a major risk factor in the child's life.

it seem like a good way of keeping track of your child now?
Another thing I am confused about is that mostly all cell phone advertisements on television are directed
towards teenagers and younger. However, when you go into a cell phone store trying to purchase a phone the sales associate
will immediately ask for identification making sure that you are at least 18 years of age or older. Maybe that should also
apply to owning a cell phone and possibly even the use of one. For parents that add their children to their accounts maybe
you should think twice about what kind of damage this can do.
